    1/6 PLATE DAGUERREOTYPE OF DAD AND TEEN DAUGHTER, NOT SEALED, NO WIPE MARKS.
    This 1/6 plate daguerreotype is of a father and his young teenage daughter. The focus is sharp and contrast is good. Dad and daughter both have tinted cheeks. There is some tarnish to outer edges near the mat. The image is "as found," unsealed. The daguerreotype image, brass mat, and glass are present. It should be resealed, but in the meantime the fit is snug and damage will not be caused by lack of seals.
