    Beautiful Black Wizard Figurine with Dragon and Crystal Staff made by Melody Pena in 1986.  One of the original pieces from 1986 and is now retired it features an elder Wizard with a long white beard and dressed in a black cloak looking up holding a baby dragon in his left hand and a crystal staff in his right hand.  The details on this piece is amazing right down to his beard!  Windstone Editions was founded in 1985 by Melody Pena, John Alberti and Mark Hines (Mark Hines Creations) as a means to produce figurines from Melody’s sculpture. She was already well known for her scratchboard fantasy and animal drawings, but equally talented in the sculpting of animal art. Windstone enabled an extension of her ability to express her notions of how a slightly different world might be populated with her extraordinary menagerie.
    The statute stands 7" tall x 3 1/4" at the bottom base and it is in excellent used condition free of any chips or cracks. The bottom base is marked Windstone Editions North Hollywood, which is the first studio that Melody Pena had Also marked Pena 86 on the back right side.  Note, this is a HEAVY piece and I will take extra special care in the packaging to make sure it arrives to it's new owner safely.
