Magnificently Detailed Portraits
Obverse: The likeness of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II is centered on the obverse. Inscribed "ELIZABETH II," "NIUE," "TWO DOLLARS" and "2021." The portrait was crafted in 1998 by Ian Rank-Broadley, an acclaimed British sculptor who also designed coinage imagery honoring the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and sixtieth wedding anniversary.
Reverse: Hermione Granger is depicted on the reverse, wearing a Gryffindor striped tie and a neatly buttoned cardigan. The young witch is actively casting a spell, as sparks of energy fly forward from her wand. Inscribed "1 OZ 999 FINE SILVER HARRY POTTER."
