American people were actually pretty conservative with their postmortems and most do not defy gravity.But here is a case that is compelling: Is this a freckled loving mother cradling her deceased child, or is she simply holding a sleeping infant?

HOUSING. MYRON SHEW case, Philadelphia. See the backwards print inside the case. Please note that the case is split.
CONDITION. Bad glass replaced with hand cut, high-quality, low-iron glass by my son. Resealed. Tarnish line encroaches a bit on the right side, but it's away from the action. Mat abrasions.
APPEARANCE. Loving composition. Strong image.
