There is a very interesting story behind this private company that issued it's own currency in the U.S. that was backed by gold/silver. This company was shut down by court order not long ago. Since then, these certificates have become highly collectable. For the whole story, google search "American Liberty Currency". This specimen has no folds and tremendous eye appeal. Gem centering and great embossing. Great opportunity here, as these are getting very hard to find, and demand is increasing.
