This print is a
VIGNETTE
of the
"Discovery of the Missisippi River"
. The discovery was made by Hernando DeSoto in 1541. The engraving was done by Frederick Girsch.  The first appearance of this vignette was on the reverse of the National Bank Note, First Charter and it was also used for the 1918 Federal Reserve Note.

We ship all our items via USPS First Class, Priority or Express Mail. We package all the notes in a protective sleeve with a cardboard backing and ship them in a bubble envelope.
Almost all items shipped within the United States have free shipping! For our International customers, if you purchase multiple items, we will ship all purchases in one envelope so you pay only one shipping fee.  We will ship your item(s) within 5 days from the purchase date. Terms of Sale
