The Union (photograph) case in this auction is in great antique condition. The image on the front and the back is a scene of the Civil War USS Monitor. Both sides of the case are well-detailed but they do show some lite surface wear and scuffs. The case opens easily and snaps tightly closed. Stored in Arizona for more than 35 years, the case was never exposed to water or high humidity. It is not blistered, flaking, or showing any signs of delamination. Typical of these cases, they are very fragile, and there are several chips on the outside edge of the case (see my last 3 photos). Please enlarge and closely review each of the photos I’ve included with this auction and consider them an important part of the description......jeff
