Wooden Ships Stirring Wheel Brass Hub Rosewood 24".
This wheel is quite nice and the pictures are the best description.  Please look at all of them and enlarge them so you can see the condition well.  There is a crack in the wood and there are some rough places where the wooden pieces fit together.  To the best of my knowledge  this is made of rosewood.  I am no expert, but that would be my guess.  The brass hub has patina and there is some discoloration where the wooden pieces fit into the hub.  This would make a wonderful mount for that big catch to you want to show off after you have it preaerved at the taxidermist.  My dad caught a sitation crappy that is mounted on one of these wheels.  It is beautifully done.  You could also use it as decoration.
